Anyone living in Venice, Madison, Granite City, Pontoon Beach, or Mitchell who needs assistance due to age or disability and whose needs cannot be met by existing services can be helped by Faith-In Action.
Drive people to the doctor, pharmacy, grocery store, etc.
Do grocery shopping for people who are shut in.
Visit with people on a weekly basis.
Provide respite care for primary care givers.
Answer phones and assist in the office.
Assist in publishing a newsletter.
Create flyers, brochures and other promotional materials.
Help plan fundraisers and other special events.
Faith-In Action is make up of churches and organizations in the Tri-Cities area. A coalition of representatives forms the governing board. A Board of Directors is elected from the coalition.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED !
Volunteers are needed to help with any of the following duties:
Volunteers may chose which services they would like to provide and may turn down any request for service. Volunteers are needed to provide services on weekdays, evenings and /or weekends.
Volunteers must attend ONE 2-hour orientation session.
